In my history at the end of 2024 I feel like I'm repeating myself from intro to intro, but the last few months have been really hectic, between work, looking for a flat at the other end of France, preparing for my move, the move itself, then settling into my new flat. Read

Amedeo Topaz I usually don't like lace, I find it very complicated to knit and even more complicated to undo when you need to correct mistakes; but this pattern is so easy and quick to knit that it might change my mind. Read
Ixchel When I started knitting, I encountered this pattern, and I dreamt of being able to knit it one day without believing it. Read

Soldotna Cropped My first colowork! I was afraid before starting, but with Hellgy's help and their advice to not tense the threads too much, it went by like a breeze. Read

Boyhood - 8/10 I was really apprehensive when I decided to go and see *Boyhood*. Because it's nearly 3 hours long, it's been praised everywhere and I was expecting a lot, with the big risk of being disappointed… Read
Carlito's Way : 8/10 Après mon premier Lars Von Trier, j’ai vu mon premier Brian De Palma cet après-midi. Et, au moins, pour ce dernier, je comprend qu’il soit considéré comme un grand réalisateur. Read
Nymphomaniac - 2/10 Lars Von Trier is a poser. A bloody poser. I hadn't seen any of his films before, and didn't really want to. And maybe I should have left it at that. Read

Oz The best series I've ever seen, by far. It's mature, incisive, addictive, violent (in every sense of the word, you have to be ready to take it in the face and the feelings), without any taboos, very well acted, very well written, it's... more than TV. Read
Sherlock Holmes - Jeu d'ombres : 3/10 I enjoyed the first part, which was honest entertainment. Not very subtle, but nice. This one is just heavy. Read
J. Edgar de Clint Eastwood : 5/10 I'm a pretty good audience for biopics, I like them and I'm pretty forgiving with them. I think my rating also benefited from the sympathy of Clint and Leo. Read
The Verve - Urban Hymns : 9/10 Bitter sweet symphony must be my most listened to song from high school, and The drugs don't work the one from my IUT years. Read
La Dame de fer : 3/10 To put it simply, it's academic, long and pompous. Meryl Streep is excellent as usual, but the film has absolutely nothing to offer. Read
