Readings #10 : Green Dot by Madeleine Gray

cover of Green Dot by Madeleine Gray. It is an illustration of a young woman drinking a coffee in front of her computer, with a plant, a notebook and her mobile phone on the desk.

I read it in one evening and really enjoyed it. The tone of the book was very cool, it makes me want to read other things written by Madeleine Gray. It's hard not to judge Hera, who makes pretty much all the worst possible choices, even though she's endearing in other ways (and I sometimes recognise myself a little in her doubts and social maladjustment). In truth, it's hard not to hate Arthur.

In short, it's a good read if you don't necessarily need to like the characters to enjoy a book 😅
